Tribal Foundation has embarked on a new project which encourages young people to get involved in works of service through our International Internship program.
This is a two-week program where our young interns spend time assisting us with our existing programs and projects as well as assisting Tribal’s partners with their work in PNG. Tribal has a keen interest in investing in the young men and women of this current generation, providing them an opportunity to travel and experience and learn about another culture.
We have recently had success with two young men that joined our internship program from the US and we have two more young men about to embark on their internship adventure. Whilst the former two interns were in PNG we utilized their individual gifts and talents in sport and construction, connecting them with are partners in Port Moresby, Madang and Mt. Hagen.
Our partners the young men were mostly involved with were,City Mission – Madang, City Mission – Bautama, Mission Aviation Fellowship, ICARE4U and LifePNGCare. The interns also got to experience village life on one of our coastal villages just outside of Port Moresby the capital city. We are excited about this new project and the young people that have already been involved have not only made an impact but they have also experienced a positive impact in their own lives.
