A total of 29 displaced people, including 14 children, have received food rations from PNG Tribal Foundation while fighting for justice in Port Moresby.
It has been almost four months since the group fled their homes at Kipo Settlement, East Boroko, National Capital District.
It is alleged that on 30 November 2025, houses at Kipo Settlement were burned, and two men were killed following the death of an elderly man who was suspected of practicing sorcery.
NCD Police have confirmed that the main suspect, who was arrested and held in custody, was released illegally.
One of the victims (named) and his family thanked the foundation for continuing to provide food rations and for paying for school uniforms for their children.
Tribal Foundation has been supporting the victims and working closely with the police to seek justice for them.
